Assyria is there, surrounded by her graves — a mighty nation, all fallen by the sword. (Ezekiel 32:22)
Every empire in this chapter had numbers, weapons, and reputation. Still ended up in the pit.
That’s what happens when strength has no standard attached to it.
Most men are built on muscle, money, or image. Take that away, and there’s nothing left standing.
Built Different men are built on something the grave can’t touch.
“I sought for a man... that should stand in the gap.” (Ezekiel 22:30)
God’s not recruiting for loud. He’s recruiting for standing.
Be the man who’s still standing when the ones who looked stronger have already fallen.
